Use Circle to Search on your Pixel Phone

  • To follow this Circle to Search example, swipe up from the bottom of your screen.

    Note: You can use Circle to Search in any app on your Pixel phone.

  • Open the YouTube app .

  • When you’re watching a YouTube short or other type of video, touch & hold the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen.

  • The Google Search bar will appear.

    Circle the part of the image you want to search.

    Tip: You can also tap or scribble over the part you want to search.

  • Google search results will appear on the lower half of your screen.

    Tip: You can add more search words to the Google search box to refine your results.

  • When you’re done and want to return to your original app context, swipe down, or tap Close on the top left corner of the screen.

    Tip: To scroll through the rest of the search results, swipe up from the bottom of your screen.
