Get around on your Pixel 9 Pro Fold
Go home
To quickly get back to your Home screen from any open app, swipe up quickly from the bottom of the screen.
Tip: To change navigation to 3-button, open the Settings app 
System > Navigation mode > 3-button navigation.
Open your Taskbar
Slow swipe up from the bottom of your screen. The taskbar will appear with the apps from your home screen.
Use the taskbar to launch and switch between apps, or drag-and-drop apps into split screen mode.
Tip: You can update the apps that show up in your taskbar from your home screen.
Switch apps
To switch between open apps, swipe from left to right at the very bottom of your screen.
Go back
To go back to a previous page or app, swipe from the left or right edge of the screen.
To cancel the action, pause the swipe, then drag your finger back to the edge of the screen where you started.
Explore all open apps
To access all your open apps, swipe up slowly from the bottom of the screen, hold and release. Then, swipe left or right, and tap the app you want to open.
If you used apps in split screen recently, you will see the split screen in your open apps as well.
Save an app pair
When you use two apps together in split screen mode, you can save them as an app pair for easy access.
Swipe up to open your recently opened apps. Under the apps together in split screen mode, tap Save app pair 
. The pair will save to your home screen.
Open the app library
Swipe up quickly from the middle of your screen to open the app library.
To add an app to your home screen, touch & hold the app icon, then drag it to where you want it on your home screen, and let go.
Gemini
Gemini is your Pixel’s AI-powered assistant, designed to help you throughout your day. Get started with Gemini by saying “Hey Google.”
You can also access Gemini when you:
- hold down the power button
- select Gemini in the Google app
- open the Gemini app
Google AI’s assistant can help you brainstorm ideas and plans, find information from wherever you need it, and get caught up quickly with summarization.

Search your phone
To search your phone for items within apps, swipe up to open your app library. In the search box, enter your keywords.
To search even faster, you can choose to always show your keyboard after swiping up on your home screen to search.
You can also search the web from any app with Circle to Search.
Pin your Taskbar
You can pin your taskbar so it’s always visible on your device screen.
Swipe up slowly from the bottom of your screen to open your taskbar. Then, press and hold the divider line on the left side of the taskbar.
Turn the toggle on for “Always show Taskbar.”
